“ Only had time to pop in for a quick pint but worth the effort. For an old git like me, this is a proper pub, warm welcome, friendly punters and a great atmosphere.. Good selection of beers and good prices. No food because we were getting something along the road. If you like a traditional feel to a pub this place is a must pop in destination. Enjoy ”
“ If you're visiting Manchester and want to have a beer at a real pub go here. Excellent selection of cask beers and fantastic atmosphere. ”
“ Very good small Hydes pub about ten minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station. Four cask beers on handpump when I visited including a ruby ale. Small outside smoking area to the rear. Not too busy after the Spurs game at the Etihad! ”
“ Lovely pub up a couple of steps. Small, friendly and atmospheric It has bench seating and has a light and airy feel. Like the nearby Circus it claims to be one of the smallest pubs in Manchester. It can get busy and space is at a premium. Real ales on the hand pumps from the local Hyde's Brewery. ”
“ Lovely welcoming atmosphere in this traditional pub in the heart of Manchester. Good cask ales and pleased to see that there was a stout available which was excellent. ”
“ A lovely cosy bar with great beer selection, lovely staff & even nicer customers. ”
“ Absolute gem of a pub, very intimate, but friendly and attentive staff. Excellent selection of real ales all very well kept. A proper traditional pub, not expensive either! Keep up the excellent work! ”
“ First visit before the Manchester United v West Ham match. Second visit after, so they did something right! Good beer, friendly staff and 3 points. ”
